ABSTRACT
Traditional agriculture is a kind of subsistence agriculture with relatively limited agricultural products obtained. Agriculture in traditional China emphasizes the combination of manpower and natural forces. Traditional Chinese agricultural development is the product of the self-sufficient economy at that time while it contributes to modern agriculture both home and abroad. By making use of the existing production techniques, Chinese farmers produce the daily necessities they need from the natural world.
