Abstract

Face masked in plastic, the body dances with each new song that’s played. Body lies flat, jumps up then down, rocks back and forth on the ground. As the music grows heavier, the video glitches. The body sits in front of the camera, voice clear and video distorted, disclosing a history of depression and suicidal ideation. The glitching intensifies until voice and outline are indistinguishable—a mass of moving color and sounds.
