ABSTRACT
The theatre’s influence on the audience is composed of many elements. It includes the actor, the author, the director, the artists, musicians, electricians; the actual theatre building – its intimacy, comfort, and splendor. The service staff, even the buffet, the cloakroom, the composition of the audience. Each of these, and many other elements I’ve neglected to mention, have their own place and play their own role.
