ABSTRACT
Chapter 21 recounts the history of the Trojan War as presented in early epic and the subsequent tradition. The last part of the chapter explains how the fall of Troy was finally achieved through the stratagem of the Trojan Horse, and describes the events of the sack and the various grim fates that were suffered by surviving members of the Trojan royal family.
