ABSTRACT
Today’s generation of “digital natives” is growing up in an always-on media environment, where texting, gaming, posting updates on social networks, and sharing videos are routine pastimes. Digital tools offer numerous new opportunities for entertainment, education, social interaction, and political engagement, enabling youth to contribute to a shared culture, find their own voices, and participate in social causes. But young peoples’ avid engagement with digital media has also raised serious privacy concerns.
