ABSTRACT
With the recent proliferation of data, data analytics has become popular across many domains. Data analytics and operations management (OM) techniques are inextricably intertwined. Several operations research techniques, particularly mathematical programming and time-series-based predictive methods, are being used to derive insights from historical data. In this chapter, we explore the applications of these techniques in various domains.
