ABSTRACT

American football has essentially been viewed as a spectator sport and has been advanced and promoted with spectators in mind. Despite the sport struggling to gain a massive following during its formative years, American football has become one of the most followed commercialized sport on a global scale. In part owing to the massive fan following of football and in part related to the monetary focus of the National Football League (NFL), the NFL has set its sights on expanding their global footprint.
