ABSTRACT

It is not often that a political scientist gets asked to write about well-being. Psychologists, sociologists, medical doctors, teachers, even nutritionists, may regularly concern themselves with well-being, but political science generally concerns itself with broader questions about power, justice, bargaining, negotiation, and decision-making.
