ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and race/ethnicity. Of course this is a general and ambitious title that cannot do justice to the breadth and depth of research on these topics that CDA/CDS scholars have engaged in and continue to produce throughout the globe. For this reason, and before diving into the discussion, I would like to make explicit here my own rationale for the selection of texts and contexts that follows.
