ABSTRACT
The commitment of outdoor recreation professionals to embrace social justice efforts including race and ethnicity has grown with the worldwide dynamic shifts in society. Similarly, research efforts have increased exponentially. As parks and outdoor spaces become repository for multicultural enjoyment, park managers are faced with new challenges in blending environmental and social justice factors via new perspectives and forward thinking.
