The essay is concerned with how a postmodern perspective can inform the understanding and practice of social justice. In doing so, we will necessarily be drawing upon selective aspects of postmodern thought and applying them to selective notions of social justice. That is to say, we do not view this essay as a definitive statement on how social justice should or would be viewed through a postmodern lens, but rather an exploration of the relationship between these concepts.
