ABSTRACT
What perspectives and analytical frameworks does critical theory bring to the way we understand and enact social justice? As other chapters in this volume attest, social justice is a contested idea, with multiple, varied, and possibly contradictory interpretations. Its permutations span different disciplines and professions. The same can be said of critical theory.
