ABSTRACT

Our society is rapidly changing into one which rewards a very wealthy group of people, a “creative class,” and disadvantages a very large portion of the remainder of the people. One group very specifically marginalized is LGBT homeless adults and seniors. By looking at several studies, including a study of LGBT adults and seniors in Minnesota, we are able to begin to have an understanding of (1) the issues facing researchers as they look at the issues of LGBT adults and seniors, (2) the lack of knowledge about what happens to LGBT homeless people as they transition into adult and senior status.
